How do I become a Verified Fan?
Verified Fan status is available through in-app subscription. This allows you to vote on claims, add context, and participate in the community evaluation process. Subscription pricing is available in the app.
How do I become a Curator?
Curators are selected members who create structured, neutral claims about reporting. To become a curator, you'll need a unique invite code. Please send a direct message to @RottenReporters on X to request an invite code.
How does voting work?
Verified Fans can vote on claims by evaluating them across multiple categories: truthfulness, context integrity, bias/fairness, consistency, impact level, and confidence. Your vote helps shape the community consensus and reporter scores.
How are reporter scores calculated?
Reporter scores are calculated based on community votes, considering factors like integrity, consistency, context, and influence. Scores reflect reasoned consensus, not outrage, and are weighted by voter reputation.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account at any time. Go to Settings (My Stuff) in the app and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete Account" below the "Sign Out" button. This will permanently remove your account and data.
