Stampchat (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Stampchat mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the App.

Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive information from that provider, such as your account identifier, display name, email address (if provided), and profile photo URL (if available).
Profile information
You may add or edit a display name and profile photo. You may choose whether your profile is public or private in app settings.
Content you create
When you use Stampchat, we collect content you create or upload, including:
- Photos and stamps you capture or select
- Stamp titles, colors, and related metadata
- Events and moments you create or join
- Folders and collection organization
- “Street cred” and related activity tied to your account
Location information
With your permission, we use your device’s location to tag stamps and events with place information and to show location-based features such as the map. Location is used while you use the App (when in use).
Social and community information
If you use social features, we collect information such as:
- Friend connections and friend requests
- Event participation (including display name and photo when you join)
- Public stamps, events, moments, and profile information you choose to make visible to others
Device and push notification information
If you enable notifications, we collect a push notification token so we can send you alerts (for example, friend requests). You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
Contacts (on your device only)
If you choose to invite friends from your contacts, the App accesses names and phone numbers from your contact list on your device so you can select people to invite. We do not upload your full contact list to our servers. Invites are sent only when you choose to send them (for example, via SMS).
Technical information
We and our service providers may automatically collect basic technical information needed to operate the App, such as device type, operating system version, and app version, in connection with authentication, sync, storage, and crash or error logging.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide core App features (stamps, collections, events, moments, map, wall, and profiles)
- Sync your data across devices signed into the same account
- Enable social features such as friends, public discovery, and shared events
- Send push notifications you have agreed to receive
- Improve reliability, security, and performance of the App
- Comply with legal obligations
How information is shared
With other Stampchat users
Depending on your settings and actions, other users may see information you share, such as:
- Your display name and profile photo
- Public profile content, stamps, folders, and curated moments
- Participation in public events and moments
- Friend connections (for example, friends may see who you are connected with, according to in-app rules)
If your profile is private, visibility of some content is limited to friends or contexts you choose.
With service providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate the App — for example sign-in with Apple or Google, cloud sync and storage, and push notifications. Those providers process data on our behalf to run the service; they do not get your data for their own marketing on our behalf.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, us, or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored using secure cloud services and protected by industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your account data from our systems, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or backup purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Update your profile name and photo in the App
- Control whether your profile is public or private
- Enable or disable push notifications in device settings
- Deny or revoke camera, photo library, location, or contacts permissions (some features may not work without them)
- Delete your account in Profile → Settings in the App

Children’s privacy
Stampchat is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International users
If you use Stampchat from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
