Expose Bible Party Games is built for friends and family to laugh, connect, and play together — and that starts with how we handle your data.
We collect only what’s necessary to run the app, host online parties when you choose that mode, and keep paid features fair.
What we collect
Player profile on your device. If you add a display name or photo for the party lobby, that stays on your device so it’s there the next time you open the app. It isn’t a sign-up account with us.
When you play online with a PIN. If you host or join a remote party, the app sends what the session needs — things like the party code, who’s in the room, and game progress — so everyone stays in sync. Other players in that same party may see your lobby name or photo because that’s how the game works together.
Behind the scenes for online play. The app uses a simple anonymous sign-in under the hood so our servers can tell devices apart and keep the room secure. That isn’t a profile you log into, and there’s no password with us for it.
Purchases. Paid features go through Apple. Apple handles payment; we don’t see your full card number. We may see limited information from Apple to confirm your subscription or trial, so paid hosting and related features unlock correctly.
Keeping things running. Like most apps, we may use basic technical and diagnostic information to fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve performance. We don’t use it to follow you around the web.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal data
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites for ads
- We don’t use your data for advertising
- We don’t ask you to create a traditional account with us
- We don’t collect more than we need for the features you use
What happens in your party stays about that party — we’re not building a public social feed from your game night.
Who can see what
We work with trusted infrastructure partners to host online sessions and process purchases — the same kind of secure cloud setup many apps use. They help us run the service; they don’t get data for their own marketing on our behalf.
In an online session, the people you invited (or who joined with your PIN) may see what the app naturally shows in the lobby or during play. We don’t publish party rooms on the open web.
You’re in control
You can:
- Change or remove what you’ve saved in the app on your device
- Adjust permissions like camera, photos, or notifications in iOS Settings whenever the app asks for them
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
- Reach us anytime through our Support page for questions or privacy requests
If you delete the app, local profile data goes with it. Server data from old parties is kept only as long as we need it to run the service, fix problems, and meet legal obligations, then removed or summarized over time.
Families and age
Expose Bible Party Games is a party game people play together; it doesn’t include graphic or mature content, and who joins a party is up to whoever shares the PIN. That said, privacy laws (including in the U.S.) treat children under 13 differently when apps collect information online. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as those laws allow. If you’re a parent or guardian and have a question about your child’s use of the app or data we might have, please reach out through Support.
Updates to this policy
We may update this page as the app grows. When we do, we’ll refresh what you read here. Continuing to use the app after a change means you’re okay with the updated policy, unless the law in your area requires something different.
Privacy isn’t an afterthought here — it’s foundational.
